Plastic food delivery containers are said to contribute to over 11million tons of plastic waste in the United States alone every year.  Patty’s goal is to work with reusable, sustainable packaging wherever possible.  For all Meal Preparation services Patty chooses Pyrex containers.  Pyrex glass containers are reusable, BPA-free, can be safely heated, frozen and refrigerated, and are non-transferrable in taste (most of us have tasted a takeout container along with the food before).  Pyrex containers are collected, washed and sanitized, before being used again.  It is a process inspired by the ‘milk man’ of days gone by, and the naturally sustainable approach of previous generations.

In addition to conscious packaging, Patty composts food scraps, producing her own mulch which she then feeds to her garden in Westchester, New York.
